The job was to remove oak steps in the living room to make way for a platform lift to be used by a wheelchair. What seemed like a simple job turned much more difficult as we could not source the same oak boards to fill in the gaps where the brick plinth had been under the oak steps. Marek went up and beyond to remove almost half the boards in the large room so that the old boards could fill the gaps and the new not quite identical boards were put in less conspicuous areas. He did a superb job and I can’t rate his craftsmanship more highly.
