Most insurers won’t cover any loss or damage incurred while a property is undergoing alteration or renovation. If you’re carrying out extension works and managing the project yourself, it’s worth discussing your project with an insurance provider, before any work begins. You may need to arrange a specific extension policy to cover the new works and the existing structure. It’s also worth enquiring about a 10-year structural warranty, as this can be provided on some new extension works.

Buildrite Harris did an excellent job in communicating and fixing problem. Form loft conversion to kitchen extension. We did have a problem for the extension, they try their very best to help instead of leave it to the client let them panic. They based on my budget to give suggestions, I felt safe and secure to leave my hand on them. Their building term ( Ash ) was trustworthy, honest and work harder then any builder I never met in UK. In order to finish the project on time they work even during bank holiday , raining day or weekend til very late time . Never complain and never late . I have some difficult material that I order from china they fixed it without I worried . I’ll not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone I know .

Called these guys out to do some repair work on my parents house, they turned up promptly as they were very close, and provided a quote and were able to start the work within days. The work was completed within the two days quoted and my parents are so pleased with the work they have asked for other interior work to be done.
