My name is Tom Stephens and I am a private maths tutor offering services across all areas of Maths up to A-Level Maths and Further Maths. I have excellent knowledge in all branches and hold a valid DBS certificate. Hello, my name's Sonia I'm a fully qualified teacher from the UK. Having worked as a teacher in schools across the UK and abroad, I came to realise that I wanted to focus on supporting students with achieving their goals beyond the boundaries of mainstream education. Not only that, but I wanted to provide children with an academic mentor, someone who really cares about their learning and provides 1-1 support to boost their confidence and love of learning.
I am currently a medical student in London with 3 years tutoring experience in maths, chemistry, biology and medicine university admissions. Tutoring is truly rewarding to me so I take great interest in my individual students, from primary school through to teens and adult learning!
Friendly and approachable! With 22 years experience working with students of all ages. From primary to key stage 5, including adults.

While at school I knew I needed to work hard to have as many career options as I could. I was determined to pass Maths GCSE and with LTC’s help, support and encouragement I did! Passing my Maths GCSE gave me a great deal of confidence and allowed me to continue my education. Now, 7 years on I’ve graduated as a nurse from Oxford Brookes University with a first class honours degree and have a challenging but fulfilling role in A&E. I will continue to develop my skills and experience in this dynamic environment and I’m so grateful to STC for starting me off on this career path.
