Ryan has been a brilliant tutor for my 11 year old son. Before working with Ryan, he didn't like writing and couldn't express his thoughts on paper well. Ryan helped him to build his confidence and also helped him to get prepared for SAT's especially with grammar which my son was struggling with.
Now he enjoys writing stories and I enjoy reading them^^ Thank you Ryan!

I have been a qualified secondary school teacher since 2004, teaching History and English up to A-Level. I have been tutoring for about 5 years and started my small business in 2016. I tutor across all exam boards and predominantly focus on GCSE and A-level, although I do have students in Key Stage 3 too. I am a team leader for AQA, marking and examining for their current GCSE History specification (Paper 1), and I am also a team leader for Edexcel, moderating A-Level coursework.

We decided to home educate our son in year 4, the year of his GCSEs. He had never studied History before but always had a great interest in it. We approached Kathryn about seeing if she could teach him history to scrape a C in his GCSEs in the coming 9 months. We bought the 3 large Text books and when Katheryn arrived we all agreed this would be a real challenge in just 2/3rd of a year to the exam. Kathryn always arrived with a very up beat attitude and great sense of humour and on top of teaching the text line by line, my son and Kathryn had great discussions about life and the Universe (not to mention Game of Thrones and Trump!). Oisin sat his exam in the June of that year and got an A*. Thank you Kathryn.

Tailored tutoring sessions and learning packs for children and young people aged 3-25. Flexible, accessible, effective. Bright Sparks has been born out of a response to traditional schooling. Rabia is an excellent economics tutor, friendly, calm and very knowledgeable in her subject matter. She successfully got my son through his economics A-level, and to a good grade! I would thoroughly recommend Rabia and it was a pleasure to deal with her. Another real bonus was that she wrote all the revision notes out during lessons which my son certainly found very useful! Thanks once again Rabia!
