My son had 1 to 1 lesson with Lois and he absolutely loved every second of the tutoring. He said that Lois was very patient and explains things very well and makes it easy to understand. He didn't want to miss a lesson even though he was tired. Thank you so much ACE for you or great work with my son.

BSc Graduate in Biomedical Engineering at City University of London. I have been tutoring Maths, English and Science for all levels of students starting from Primary to A-Level. Students usually require additional support in preparation for their exams as well as homework and term exams. Based on their requirement and their ability, I also prepare additional work in order to help them achieve their target set by their school.

I privately tutor the students from age 4-18. I really enjoy teaching because I think the most important thing particularly about learning science and maths is enjoyment and make your students give their best. I love to talk and ask questions frequently to my students. I also encourage them to do the same.

It's all about the grade you need to progress to the future you want - whether that is getting Grade 4 at GCSE to never have to do English again, get Grade 6 to apply to Russell Group universities or Grade 9 to make English match all your other predicted grades. At A level, the number of marks between grades can be very low - 9 marks between a C and an A* with OCR - so making sure you get every mark you can is vital.

Ms Razina is a very experienced teacher who has very thorough knowledge of primary school education. When she delivers her lesson, she is fully aware of how to develop different skills and how to meet the curriculums targets. She also has access to teachers' resources that we found very useful for classwork and homework. She is also well mannered and engaging yet firm. Our overall experience with my year 6 daughter has been excellent, and far better than we set out for.

I generate creativity in the student and aim to make them feel more confident. I have good communication skills and generally flexible in my approach. I teach Maths, Physics and Chemistry. The lessons are mainly online. Online has many advantages and can be in the comfort of your own surroundings. Last year all of my students achieved A's and B's at A level and, while for GCSE's all of my students obtained level 7 or above. Lastly I am adaptable and find that there is no one way of teaching. The aim is to connect meaningfully and generate a good rapport.
It is rewarding when a student achieves a good result after the mutual effort we put in. This is the aspect of teaching I love most.
I wanted to share my academic knowledge, gained mostly whilst working as a Chemical Engineer, with eager students but maintain a level of independence and work-life balance that a career as a private tutor enables.
I have strong and demonstrable track record of enabling students to achieve strong results. I have also taught in schools. I also work with an agency dealing with students with special needs.
At the moment I mainly teach online through Zoom. Online has many advantages, such as, screen sharing, an immersive whiteboard and in my opinion, is just as effective as any other method of teaching.
I have made an effective transition to mainly online teaching, which has required me to upskill myself on technology and has required me to think more 'out of the box' in order to create an impressive visual content. Of course, the subject material has changed accordingly and I have always kept up to date on the syllabus.
