Lisanne is a great tutor. She is very organised and uses a number of teaching styles to keep the pace moving. Her style is welcoming and supportive and she maintained a sense of humour despite the fact that as 'mature' students we were not always 'on task'!
I have particular appreciation for her willingness to flex what was covered to accommodate Spanish that we thought would be most useful to us (ie a detailed menu / requesting different types of cooking).
She has also agreed to give our family an Ad Hoc Refresher lesson in a couple of months' time so that we can hopefully utilise as much of what we have learned when we visit Menorca later this year.
Thank you very much Lisanne. It has been a pleasure x
Hello, my name is Jo Davidson, I provide one to one talking therapy/counselling online, as well as study skills, mentoring, enhancing computer skills for any ages. I own a company called Dragonfly Educational Support which is a small independent company providing Specialist Mentor for Autism and Mental Health Difficulties, Assistive Technology (AT) training and Study Skills support for SPLD and Autism.
I offer Spanish and yoga lessons (face to face or on-line) I'm a language teacher at one of the main colleges in Southampton and I really enjoy working with and helping people. I've lived and traveled through Central and South America; I'm half Guatemalan, and so you might say, my routes pulled me back! I've successfully tutored school children through to adults and I offer bespoke lessons.

We highly recommend Charlene. She stayed recently whilst we were away for a long weekend at a wedding. She looked after our puppy, Pepper and our home brilliantly. Everything was left as she found it and we were so relieved to not have to put Pepper into a kennel. We have already booked her for our next trip away.
I am a primary school teacher, and am about to qualify. I am looking to tutor during the summer until I start my job working as a teacher for Key Stage 2/3 children. I can therefore teach all primary school subjects at all primary school ages. I am also a very experienced musician so can teach grade 5 theory.
Hi, my name is Gemma and I’m an experienced KS2 tutor providing professional individual and group tuition for primary school-aged children in years 3 to 6. I'm a fully qualified, experienced primary school teacher with enhanced DBS who began teaching in 2004, where I taught English abroad before returning to the UK gaining my PGCE in Primary Education with QTS and embarking on a career as a primary school teacher.
• Is your child struggling to get good grades in English? • Do they feel out of their depth? If so, then I can help. Learning to read between the lines and interpret what the writer is trying to say is a skill that has to be learned. Identifying the techniques and devices used and showing how you can use them yourself in the writing part is paramount. The ability to write an original, creative and technically correct piece in each of the language papers, represents 50% of the final mark in the language exam.
I offer a tailored online learning service to help you meet your educational goals. If preferred, I offer in person sessions for anyone local to Christchurch. Covers a good range of subjects and techniques whether you are a beginner or experienced and everyone improves. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming which is why so many of her students come back year after year.

LV Languages is a private tuition company founded out of a passion for teaching and languages. We know that learning a language can be difficult and time consuming so we aim to make the process easier and more accessible by offering a variety of services to suit your needs. With face to face and online tuition, in depth marking and feedback and personal e-lessons, at LV Languages there is something for everyone! At the moment we offer Spanish and English as a Foreign Language but are looking to add more languages in the future.
I have always had a passion for languages and have wanted to inspire others to feel the same way. I knew that there were people out there who wanted to start a new language or continue learning a language but that some of these people were struggling to fit in language learning around their busy lifestyles. It was for this reason that I came up with the idea of LV Languages, particularly the e-lessons, which allow people to access the same great resources that they would in face to face tuition but in their own time and at their own pace, without needing to clear time in their schedule to arrange a lesson.
At LV Languages we pride ourselves on offering unbeatable customer service. From the moment we receive an enquiry we make sure that we collect as much information as possible about you so that we can suggest the best possible course of action. In your first meeting your goals for learning will be discussed and you will complete a variety of tasks to assess your level (if applicable). Following this meeting a detailed scheme of learning will be created which will outline the direction of your tuition (this can be shared with you if you wish). We also use a variety of resources and techniques in our lessons to ensure that you not only make excellent progress but that you also have fun whilst doing do . The process is entirely guided by you to make sure that you work on the areas you want to and tuition can continue until you feel that you have achieved the goals that you set out to achieve.
Working with others who are passionate about learning languages is one of my favourite things about my job. However the best thing is looking back at where students were and seeing the progress that they have made from their very first lesson. Knowing that your help and their hard work has allowed them to achieve their goals is the reason that I love my work.
