This depends entirely on the nature of the investigation. Some services are conducted online, such as Trace & Locate work and the majority of Background Checks, but other services require enquiries face to face. The pandemic has caused me to re-appraise the way I work. I do not meet clients face to face unless absolutely necessary, which makes it even more essential that I conduct Due Diligence, and satisfy myself about every client's true identity and their true motivations for wanting me to conduct an investigation. I always require proof of every client's ID, and addess. If you are not prepared to prove to me who you are, don't bother asking me to work for you.
