Hey there, I am Louisa Grantz :) Teaching is and has always been my passion. Everything I learn along the way, from my wonderful teachers during my studies, I try to pass on to my brilliant students. I have been teaching people of all ages, levels and backgrounds for over a decade now (which feels crazy!), and I absolutely love it. I tailor my teaching style to meet each student's unique needs and goals and I'm delighted to guide them through ABRSM or Trinity Grades.

My lessons are fun and tailored to my students' interests. There is a world of music out there and it's important to explore it in the learning process. I travel to my students' houses rather than teaching from a studio, and highlight the importance of daily piano practice to maximise students' potential. I also encourage regular performance to help students become accustomed to playing in front of an audience.

Anthony has been professional from the start, meeting us to discuss what we wanted and listening to the children play and playing for us too. He is friendly and his enthusiasm rubs off on the kids who think he’s great. Each week he provides notes on their lesson and what they should be working on. During COVID he has been having weekly Zoom lessons with the kids and they are really enjoying this.
He is always punctual and would always give me plenty notice of any potential issues.
My children have gained music exams under his tutelage. Anthony phoned to speak to the kids after their exam to see how they got on which was really kind and appreciated by the kids.
I would definitely recommend Anthony and only wish we’d met him sooner!

Rish is a highly intelligent and talented, high-level pianist - a genius! Not only has he helped me hone my piano posture and technique, as well as advancing my music theory, but he also has helped me to self-evaluate whilst enjoying the music. I feel constantly encouraged and hyped up when I go to lessons. I have never felt so supported and confident with a teacher. He completely puts me at ease and is always patient; I cannot recommend to anyone more - adults and children (he is amazing with children too! Has a lovely friendly way about him); I can doubtlessly say that he is worth every penny. He always has such a fantastic way of breaking things down when I don't get something the first time round too. His genius shines through, as well as emotional intelligence and kindness; this is a rare combination to come by! You're lucky if you manage to book a lesson with this industry professional! He always motivates me to work hard, and I've really seen the rewards!

Jessica is an excellent piano teacher. My son started when he was 6 years old. Jessica managed to walk him through some harder phases as well as to help him enjoy the easier ones.
Several months later, my son still loves the lessons with her and always looks forward to them. We would suggest and have already suggested Jessica to anybody who wants to make sure their children can learn piano while enjoying it fondly.
Hello and Welcome to my Bark profile! I am a music teacher with 8 years of experience in private instruction. I am currently based in London, UK where in addition to my teaching, I work as a freelance opera singer. Originally from Toronto Canada, I completed a BFA in Music at York University as well as a MMus in Opera at the University of Toronto. Most recently, I graduated with a MMus in Voice Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. My introduction to music was through the piano which I studied for over 10 years earning a Grade 10 Royal Conservatory of Music certification. I am currently offering remote lessons in singing and piano for students of all ages and all experience levels. My aim as a teacher is to provide lessons that are informative, fun, and challenging. It is my hope to be able to both guide students in the learning of a new skill and to help them discover the joy of making music! All new students will receive a 20% discount on their first lesson.
I love being able to share music with my students and inspire them to pursue their goals. Music has such an enriching effect on our lives, no matter what age we come to it. As a teacher, it is extremely rewarding to be able to share this knowledge with my students and watch them not only develop their new-found skills, but discover something new about themselves through the process.
As a professional freelance opera singer, a large part of my job is running my own business. I decided to do the same with my teaching work. Offering my teaching services as my own small business allows me to connect with my students on a more personal level and provide a service that is catered directly to each individual student.
I have many years of experience teaching students across multiple age groups, experience levels, and disciplines. My background in classical music has cultivated an in-depth knowledge of and passion for music which I believe I can impart on my students through my teaching.
My experience as a performer affords me a unique perspective from which to guide my students in their lessons. Teaching is a true passion of mine. I am a dedicated educator who puts a lot of time and attention into each and every one of my students. I take genuine pleasure in watching them achieve their goals.
Above all, music should be fun. It is very important to me that students feel inspired and enjoy their lessons while being challenged to grow. This is the type of learning environment I foster in all of my lessons and is one which, I believe, achieves the best results.
