The river music school is a fantastic establishment. A fantablishment if you will. To me, Scales where something that belonged to snakes, keys opened doors and notes where something you wrote when your email doesn't work and don't want to speak over the phone. Thanks to the river music school, I now know different.
There teachers are friendly and have wealth of experience that would make Mozart jealous. As well, they make the lessons fun and interesting. Whether you are child looking to go wild, a teen with a dream to be a music queen, or an adult with ears you'd like to assault, I would recommend river music school.
Dont be shocked when you hear the kids saying 'RIVER MUSIC SCHOOL IS COOL!'

Harrison is the definition of professional and he is one of the most engaging people I have ever met! My son (6 years old) started piano this year and he is excited to see Harrison every week. Harrison manages to find something to get him excited every week and knows just what to say to get him re-engage when interest is lacking. He is teaching Jackson not only the practical side of music but also creating music through composition and getting his creative juices going while doing it around other topics he likes (Harry Potter, minecraft etc). He is truly a one of kind teacher that we are so grateful to have found!

Hi... I would like to share my review today. I had my first class some minutes back. The teacher teaching here is ❤️ the Director Jolene herself ❤️ who is very sweet, loving, so patient & understanding. To me as a beginner today, the class was beyond my imagination... I was a little nervous since it was the first time until the zoom call began & I got to see Jolene on the other side waving out to me with that sweet smile. the class was vocals & supposed to be a days class but it was so good & I immediately decided I wil do few more... Now m glad to be an active student of this blue ocean waves music school. may God shower his blessings on Jolene, her mom & this school & all students here. Thank you

My daughter has been playing the piano for 3 years now and she really enjoys it. With the help and teaching of Marta, she has learnt to play a variety of songs and learn about different famous composers. The teachers here are really supportive and encouraging. The way that they teach is in such a way that they make the students want to learn more and master the art of playing the piano. Marta organises amazing concerts that show us (family/ friends) what the students have been learning in class. To finish off Marta always gives us a DVD so we can watch the performances that the student played. I would totally recommend Marta to anyone who wants to learn to play the piano for any age.

Excellent platform to help me find the best tutor for my daughter. It was really easy to navigate around the website and making an account was quick. Once my tutor request went live, I had plenty of tutors message me with interest, unlike some other tutor sites. All of them had great experience and were friendly. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone looking for tuition for their child.

I love teaching in new and creative ways. Whilst following the old-school of piano tuition is integral to understanding the instrument, I believe it is just as important to understand the individual needs of each student. Every student will have a different learning style, and getting to know each one is a wonderful process. I love seeing the progress that a student can make over a short period of time, and it gives a great sense of fulfilment.
I have a great desire to share my creative approach to piano and music creation. I believe everyone can play music and unlocking one's creative potential is extremely fulfilling. Piano is both meditative and inspiring, and understanding the instrument is a lifelong journey of peace and growth. If I can give someone the gift of this practice, that's all I can wish for.
I have good emotional intelligence and I will be able to cater each lesson to suit your needs. I approach lessons with an open mind and I encourage students to truly believe in themselves and their capabilities. I am also very structured and organisation is key to my practice. I believe that routine brings creative freedom, and finding a balance between creativity and structure is a skill that I have been working on for years. I love working with people of all ages, and my extensive background in music education leaves me with 14 years of experience and knowledge. I would love to share some of this knowledge with you!
I can provide lessons in-person and online. I am happy to travel within London or host lessons at my house.
