Piano lessons with a Royal College of Music (MA) Student, with King's College London (BA). An experienced piano teacher with lessons in person and online. Teaching piano to all ages at all levels! About Gabrielle: Master of Music Composition at The Royal College of Music, with a Bachelors of Music from King's College London. My final year Undergraduate courses were in Advanced Composition with Advanced Piano and Vocal Studies. I’m studying a MA in Music Composition with Dr. Catherine Kontz and Dr. Dai Fujikura. I specialise in piano and chamber music. My work is centred around creativity, feeling and intuition, with a heavy influence by my own Synaesthesia and passion for the visual arts. Prior to studying at the RCM, I graduated from King’s College London with a Bachelors in Music, whilst receiving singing lessons at The Royal Academy of Music under Sarah Champion. As well as using traditional piano technique, I bring psychology into my music practice, enhancing confidence and mindfulness practices that enable a better musical performance. During spring 2024, I plan to write for students at the English National Ballet, for a performance of a vocal piece at The Wallace Collection. Price: 1 hour: £40 2 hour: £70

What do you love most about your job?

I love teaching in new and creative ways. Whilst following the old-school of piano tuition is integral to understanding the instrument, I believe it is just as important to understand the individual needs of each student. Every student will have a different learning style, and getting to know each one is a wonderful process. I love seeing the progress that a student can make over a short period of time, and it gives a great sense of fulfilment.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have a great desire to share my creative approach to piano and music creation. I believe everyone can play music and unlocking one's creative potential is extremely fulfilling. Piano is both meditative and inspiring, and understanding the instrument is a lifelong journey of peace and growth. If I can give someone the gift of this practice, that's all I can wish for.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have good emotional intelligence and I will be able to cater each lesson to suit your needs. I approach lessons with an open mind and I encourage students to truly believe in themselves and their capabilities. I am also very structured and organisation is key to my practice. I believe that routine brings creative freedom, and finding a balance between creativity and structure is a skill that I have been working on for years. I love working with people of all ages, and my extensive background in music education leaves me with 14 years of experience and knowledge. I would love to share some of this knowledge with you!

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can provide lessons in-person and online. I am happy to travel within London or host lessons at my house.
