Anne B. Davy Piano Tuition

I am a friendly, classically trained piano teacher with more than 35 years of teaching experience. I started my business after graduating from a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in one of the most prestigious schools of Music in Manila, Philippines where I was born and raised. I moved to Bristol in 2008 and have continued my piano tuition in a lovely town, Keynsham, in the outskirts of Bristol and Bath. I teach beginner to advance piano. I prepare students for piano exams and am registered with both ABRSM and TRINITY exam boards. I have a 100% pass rate with most students passing with merit or distinction. I teach to make the grades or just for leisure. My main goal in teaching is for students to enjoy playing the piano and loving music. Since the pandemic, I have also decided to teach online and continue to do so. I offer both online and face to face (in-person) tuition. Face to face tuition is done in my residence in Keynsham. I do not travel to students’ homes. I teach both children and adults, age ranging from 6 - 75 yrs.

What do you love most about your job?

The best part of my job is seeing my students develop in their playing. Enjoying the pieces they play and above all loving the piano and music especially classical music. I love the chemistry I have with all my students and how easy it is for them to communicate with me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have been teaching piano for more than thirty years, thus, starting my business more than thirty years ago. I always loved teaching children and Music. This is the reason why I went into Music Education. Moving to the UK in 2008 and starting my business here I started accepting adults, too. And it has been such a pleasure teaching adults especially beginner adults.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am a friendly and patient teacher. I always make it a point to make my students feel comfortable when learning the piano with me.
