The "job' doesn't feel like a job... I get to spend time meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and sharing in one of the best times in their lives!
I was inspired to start my own business by two things: 1 - I needed to reignite my creativity. I had been an excellent artist in my teens, but seemed to have lost the ability to create anything inspiring. The camera became my tool of self expression. 2 - My children. As I rose up the corporate lader, I realised i was spending less and less time with the children. I was ferrying them to 'breakfast club' at 8 am and collecting them from 'after school club at 6pm'. My first camera Nikon D60 paved my great escape, giving me back the work life balance.
Client's should choose me because i'm passionate about what I do, and this passion tend to enthuse others. I tailor my photography to my clients needs, as opposed to trying to replicate the same images for each event, I take time to meet with clients at the venue or for an informal meeting to discuss their requirements and run through ideas, and I pay great attention to details (e.g. items that are important to a clients that also need to be incorporated into the photographs)
