There is only one secret to great photography and that is mastering light. Anyone can point a camera and push a button but only a good photographer can control, shape and bend light to enhance images, create ambience, paint an atmosphere and bestow emotions.
If property photography I would ask the customer to prepare the property and take guidance so we can work together to produce a perfect set of photos of their property.
If portraits I would discuss what there requirements are and what types of pictures they want i.e. headshots, family portraits or just a single portrait.
I have always worked within the home improvement industry pretty much since leaving school and my hobby is photography. So what I love most about my job is that I am being paid to work on my hobby!
