I am a modern wedding, portrait, and boudoir photographer from Inverness. I live here, but shoot all over Highland and further afield as I love to travel. I tend to have a more creative approach to photography, and I am drawn towards capturing fun moments however and wherever they may happen! My aim is to give every client a gorgeous set of images that totally represents their big day or their family dynamic.

Iv know Roksana for a few years, I knew she was a great photographer. I asked Roksana if she would do my wedding photos for me. I was so delighted to have somebody I knew doing it! It was great to have her around, she kept me nice and calm. However I can only give my highest recommendations for Roksana as all my photos are stunning, the colour has come out so well. She was so easy to work with, that I actually forgot at 1 point that she was there taking pictures! If you want somebody who is just lovely, doesn’t get in your face, but really does get the job done. Book Roksana now!!

Absolutely love photographing weddings, as the day is full of so much fun, love and emotion. The aim is to document the special day in a fashion of telling a narrative whilst capturing genuine emotions brought to life. I believe the Special Day should also be a very relaxing day to enjoy while memories for life get captured. Being an integral part of this day and ensuring you have memories to treasure for a lifetime is always an honour and pleasure.

We were looking for a photographer for our wedding and came across Charne's website. We instantly loved her photos because they were so vibrant and colourful. Charne is true artist with her photography. Not only were we blown away by our photos, but the whole process was so professional from our initial enquiry all the way through to our wedding day. Charne met with us in a hotel to go over every detail and she was meticulous in every aspect. We could not recommend her highly enough nor and praise her photography skills and professionalism highly enough. Furthermore she was excellent with our guests, gentle and kind and making sure we were all laughing and having a good time whilst having our photos were taken. A truly captivating photography experience!

Having worked with Gordon many ’s ago I was thrilled to discover he is now a professional photographer and when I discovered he was available for our wedding I was over the moon. Gordon is truly amazing, he put everyone at ease, was thoroughly professional, unobtrusive on the day and We were thrilled to receive a few pictures the morning after. Our guests were full of praise for Gordon and we can thoroughly recommend his exceptional talents. No ‘big’ day should be without this ‘giant’ of a man whose talented work speaks volumes. Absolutely delighted to have shared our day with Gordon and have him enable us to share our precious moments forever. Thank you Mr ‘Longhouse Photography’ Bain.

Everything in the house is new and all of the furnishings and fittings are of a high standard. The lounge is a lovely big family room that contains a wood burning stove and a lovely bay window. The décor throughout the house is lovely and this room is no exception. The kitchen is lovely and has everything you need including a large farmhouse style kitchen table that can seat 6. It is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, as is the whole house. The utility/wash room is situated at the back door and is a big room that is great for drying wet walking cloths and boots and for washing and drying off wet dogs. There is also a large wet room with toilet and a great shower just off the utility room. Dogs are welcome at the Old Police House and when they were not with us we kept ours in the utility room while we were out. The utility room is big enough for the dogs but if you prefer there is a walk-in kennel in the garden. While I am on the subject of dogs there are a lot of lovely walks nearby and the lovely large garden is fully enclosed and dog proof.Staying downstairs there is a lovely family shower room with all new fixtures and fittings. It is immaculate. The main bedroom is also downstairs and the very large bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The décor is in keeping with the rest of the house and it is lovely and fresh.Upstairs there are 2 identical twin rooms, beautifully decorated and presented and there is a lovely family bathroom with a 3rd shower. As we were just a party of 2 (& 2 small dogs) we did not use any of the upstairs facilities. Everything we needed (and more) was on the ground floor. We loved this house and really appreciated the care and thought that has gone into making it a most welcoming and very comfortable holiday home. The garden is large and beautifully laid out and it gets lots of sunshine and all the equipment is there for alfresco dining at the front and the rear of the house. The house is owned by Susan and her family who stay next door. Susan provides a lovely welcome pack of essential provisions and she is on hand to help if you need her. She does not intrude but is there for any assistance or guidance you might require during your stay. She has gone to a lot of effort to provide a holiday home that is of a very high standard and she works hard to make sure everything is right for you.I thoroughly recommend this house and would describe it as 5 star. Inverness is about 5 to 10 minutes away by car and there is a lot to do and see in the surrounding area.We would love to return to the Old Police House for another holiday break and hope to be able to do so. Just a note on directions when travelling north on the A9 you should turn off to the right where it is signposted Daviot East (B9154). If you follow that road for about half a mile you will come across the house very easily. Daviot West is where the lovely white church is situated but the Old Police House is on the other side of the A9 and you do get a lovely view of the church from the house.
