I love every aspect of that job; from the initial planning, through the practical shooting and developing, to the delivery and response.
Having to have had a lot of surgery, during my recovery I decided that if there was a perfect time to change my life, it was going to be then.
With photography always being a keen interest of mine, it was only natural that this would be what I'd focus on. I created a website, took on my first few customers, and the rest is history!
Since then I've owned photo studios and worked at a lot of beautiful locations, gaining knowledge and developing new skills and understanding a long the way.
What can I say here that any other photographer wouldn't? ...I'd say for my attention to detail, or for my ability to listen, understand and deliver exactly what the client wants, or even for my patience if a client is nervous or not quite sure what they want.
But every other photographer will claim the same.
I'd say that every photographer shoots differently, therefore photography is an extremely personal preference. Usually photography is more of an emotional feeling for most viewers.
