My name's Pete and I've been a full time Wedding and Portrait Photographer for 17 years. In that time I've photographed over 600 Weddings and thousands of family portraits. I have also been providing Photo Booth & Magic Mirror Hire since 2013. My photography style is relaxed, friendly & fun with a forte for candid / reportage photography. I have packages to sort all budgets with Wedding photography from £195 to £1,995 and portraits from £100. I also provide corporate / event photography and product and Headshot shoots I would love the opportunity to have a quick chat on the phone, as this will give you a good idea if you feel comfortable with me being your photographer, which is the most important thing to get right.

After 17 years of photographing people, I am starting to understand the real value of photographs, as people contact me after photographs that were taken 10 plus years ago. Photographs go up in value as each year passes.
I worked in the customer service industry for nearly twenty years, but when I sat down with my careers teach at age 16 and he asked me what I wanted to be, I said a photographer. It took me twenty years to take that step, but I have never looked back.
They should choose me, as I'm unobtrusive, but friendly, relaxed and fun.
There are three things you need to get right in choosing your photographer:
1) Budget - you can spend silly money on photography, especially for your wedding and every photographer will tell you that its the most important thing you'll book, BUT, you can get a top London Wedding photographer for £10k, so if you're not doing that, then budget cannot be dismissed. Work out what you can afford and then find the best photographer within it. Your budgets will easily get stretched and you'll end up spending much more on your day than you meant to, so try to stick to them.
2) Quality of work - Photographers generally show you display work. This is cherry-picked and could be 10 shots from the last ten years. This is a great place to start, but what you should look at is a recent unedited wedding (what that couple got from their day), plus an unedited wedding shot at the same time of year as your day. This will give you an idea of the quality your photographer achieves on a day to day basis, rather than their best ten images!
3) The person - This is the most important one to get right, as you need to feel comfortable with your photographer. If you don't, you won't see their best work anyway, as a photograph of a person is a reflection of how they felt standing in front of the photographer (at ease with them? having fun? uptight? Irritated with them?) it shows on their face. So have a chat on the phone as a minimum, but if you can, meet three photographers from your shortlist and you will know which is the right one for you.
Photo Booths and Magic Mirrors fall into the category of entertainment rather than photography. The key difference is that there isn't anyone staring at you with a camera, so the photographs are very VERY relaxed!
We offer a range of props including hats, wigs and glasses, although we do recommend that to keep everyone safe at the moment, you provide your own props.
