I have always wanted to work for myself as I am very independent. An opportunity came up in 2002 which changed my life and that's how I started looking after pet's in their owners home.
I am extremely experienced and well educated with caring for many types of pets. I am very conscientious, reliable and trustworthy. I am very interested in computers and have created all my own forms to gather all the information I need to care for peoples pets. I like to use automated systems to allow me to send paperwork, invoices, bookings etc which frees up my time so I can concentrate on the pets that I am caring for.
My services are only in person. I move around from one home to the next and stay there including overnight. This means that the pet does not have to go to a boarding kennel or someone else's home and stay in a strange place without you.
I do help people with dog behaviour issues such as jumping up, fussing eaters, pulling on the lead and these can be offered online.
I did not work during Covid-19. My clients were unable to go away on holiday due to the lockdowns. I got involved with looking for alternative ways of bringing in income and I started offering Laughter Yoga classes online and giving Distant Reiki treatments.
I am now back to pet and house sitting full time and taking bookings from January 2023 onwards.
