We use top of the range luxury organic shampoos and treatments with a range of hypo allergenic skin treatment shampoos and conditioners. We also provide de-shedding treatments for all those dogs who shed - helping your house stay as hair free for as long as possible in-between grooms. We also offer flexible appointments starting very early (via pre-booked appointment) daytime and evening appointments. We use brand new top of the range latest technology, which includes quiet dryers (to protect the ears), we have individual bed areas so they can chill out and get some space if needs me (all with clean cosy bedding) with fresh water and toys to play with. We are situated in grounds of ¼ of an acre so there is lots of room for them to have fun and frolics whilst spending time here at Wagtails of the Wolds salon. I love working with and being surrounded by dogs - they are fun, naughty and mischievous and great fun to be around, I also love the interaction with pet parents - it's great to be able to share stories, tips and tales with each other.
The actual dog grooming I find particularly exciting - I love being able to transform a dog into a piece of art (being able to make them see again after hair growing into their eyes) putting the shape back into breeds such as schnauzers - being able to just make them look and smell amazing.
I don't have children so my dogs are my babies - I love learning about them constantly, everything I do is based around dogs.
I have introduced dog food into the business, collaborating with Edgard Cooper who make 100% fresh food - nothing artificial added - as I want the very best for my dogs. We have also bought out our own range of dog perfume / cologne - I just love it when the dogs run around the house and waft their smell of yummy perfume. So I have made it available for everyone to experience the same constant luxury smell of the dogs to tide them through until their next dog groom, this is available to purchase in our shop and also online where we can arrange posting it directly to you. We are constantly evolving as a business and having lots of fun along the way. We welcome all dogs, whatever age, size and breed - plus we are very people friendly too :)

We work along side our clients to make sure their needs are catered to as well as educating and teaching pet parents along the way.
We welcome parents to stay during grooms, some like to be involved and some don't, so we are very flexible - we even provide 1 day Masterclass sessions where we teach you on a 1-2-1 basis on how to groom your own dog.
In addition to this we use a wide range of different products, all organic, to cater for skin conditions, allergies, shedding etc. My own Cavapoo suffers from skin issues which causes Barney a lot of pain and has even dis-coloured his feet making them brown. I have since found a range of products that have 90% cured him from his constant itching and biting, enabling us to stop giving him daily pills! I use these products in the salon on any dog who requires it.
We also offer doggy day care, day creche and pet sitting services - we are situated in 1/4 of an acre garden so the dogs have plenty of room to play, frolic and generally have fun at all times.
