I signed up to Tej at the beginning of January of this year. I felt so unhappy with my weight and felt like there was nothing I could do to change this. My goal was to loose weight in time for my brothers wedding in September. Tej reassured me from the first time I spoke to him that although it would be a challenge I would reach my goal!
Although I started with Tej to loose weight I gained much more. I was in a really bad space mentally and working with Tej not only helped me out with physically feeling better but also mentally! I forgot how much I loved being active, Tej gave me a goal of reaching 10,000 steps a day and this was something that I started to really enjoy achieving. It became a family affair and I got all my family involved in daily walks. This was great not only for me but for the whole family.

I met Greg a couple of years back which started with a free session only. My initial thoughts were that I would train for three months and then go off and do it by myself however the progress I was seeing meant I carried on training with Greg as I was enjoying the progress and was feeling stronger.
Unfortunately (or fortunately), I took a break during the lockdown which meant no personal training sessions with Greg for an entire year. Quite simply seeing people improve using the tools and techniques you've shown them. If you're not in the industry to that reason as a coach then you're in it for the wrong reasons.
March 2020 - COVID
After 13 years of working for big companies such as Virgin Active and most recently Nuffield Health it really hit home over the COVID lockdowns that people out there still need help and guidance yet the gyms wouldn't support that ideology of a coach.
I had clients begging me to stay in touch and help them through the most difficult time of a lifetime - something I wish my kids never haver to endure growing up again.
I opted to help those in need and naturally it felt good helping, quickly realising that the way in which I went about things not only benefitted those I coached but found myself happier within.
Once the gyms where open again I went back with a different mindset, basically brushing the cobwebs off my brain book (dream job 2.0) and decided now is the time to pursue that goal.
Now I love what I do again after so many years and shall continue to provide the energy and guidance to those in need.
