How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

Ensure complete understanding of what they want to achieve and their motivations. Discuss and explore there perception of how they believe they will get there. Ensure a progressive plan that moves them from there perceived journey to the one which will see the attainment of this goal. Fitness is hugely facilitated by increasing mastery of skills, enhancing capability and seeing results. As such ensure clarity and focus of goals with continued visible progress. All of this needs to be packaged into sessions that are fun and engaging!

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Consistency. There are no magic secrets or shortcuts. Making small changes however amalgamate to large lifestyle alterations and progress along this path. Ultimately the more discipline demonstrated and work put in the greater the potential result. However I believe for most people there will be a balance that allows them to live life fit, healthy, happy and feeling good. The secret is finding each individuals personal balance.

What do you love most about your job?

I am outgoing, energetic and a people person. I have always been active. As such the ability to work with people day to day within this context is a dream job. I strongly believe that physical activity is essential for good physical and mental health - we were born to be physically busy. Additionally that we are all capable of achieving what we want. Taking away a victim mentality and instilling the belief to achieve what you want with your own health, fitness and physique is a hugely rewarding journey.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having completed 4 years of further education in sport and exercise science and working in an office for a year and half I realised what I truly wanted to do. Setting up my business was how I seized control of my work and lifestyle situation.
