OPTIHEAL THERAPY AND FITNESS

OPTIHEAL THERAPY AND FITNESS Discover the story behind my journey as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist, and why I hold a Diploma in Personal Training and an A Level Three diploma. "From a young age, I developed a deep love for sports and physical activity. Whether it was playing football with my dad and older kids in the neighbourhood or representing my secondary school in table tennis, sports became an integral part of my life. I even pursued semi-professional football and basketball, and at the age of 15, I delved into bodybuilding to bulk up during my time at secondary school. However, life presented me with unexpected challenges. I was diagnosed with PSC (primary sclerosing cholangitis) and Ulcerative Colitis, which eventually led to a liver transplant at the age of 44. Following the operation, I faced additional hurdles, including being diagnosed with Psychosis due to medication, severe anxiety, and PTSD. These circumstances forced me to retire from my 17-year career as a police officer. Throughout these trials, one thing remained constant: my unwavering dedication to self-care and personal growth. It became clear to me that I wanted to pursue a career that would not only empower others but also help them become better versions of themselves. That's why I became a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. I hold a Diploma in Personal Training and an A Level Three diploma to ensure that I am equipped with the knowledge and expertise to guide individuals on their wellness journey. I understand firsthand the transformative power of physical activity, self-care, and personal growth. My own experiences have instilled in me a genuine empathy and compassion for those seeking to improve their well-being. I am here to support you, whether you are recovering from an injury, managing stress, or striving to achieve your fitness goals. Join me on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Together, we will unlock your full potential and create a healthier, happier you. Contact me today to start your personalised wellness journey."

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

I help my clients by giving a consultation prior to starting with any of my services, my goal has always been to help my clients become the best version of themselves. I believe that there is someone incredible in all of us, my job is to help my clients discover that hidden special ability that we have hidden away.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

There is no secret to getting a body of your dreams, a lot of people are lost because of the saturation of information in our life. the simple truth is if you can move every day, exercise have a good diet and get enough sleep, you are half way to achieving your goal of becoming a better version of yourself.

What do you love most about your job?

The thing I love most about my job is that, it's not a job for me, this is a passion for me and when I see my clients life changing for the better.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was sick and tired of watching other Personal trainers working in the industry that I am passionate about. I have a passion, which is more than a passion, it's more like a gift, so when I began to train my friends and saw the results they were getting from me on a part time basis, I thought why not use my gift to change more lives.

Why should our clients choose you?

Simply put health is wealth, last year in February at the age of 44 I had a life saving liver transplant operation which lasted 10 hours, I was in hospital for 17 days and I have gone on to plan my own rehabilitation and get back to better version than before my operation.
My wealth of knowledge to draw from is very vast
I have been in fitness since I was 3 years old. I have been involved in track and field, I have run half marathons, Have done Obstacle events like the Grim 8 and Brutal 11.
I have played Basketball, Football and Table Tennis at a youth Elite level and I have carried this on on my adult life, in my experience I believe a trainer should have a wealth of knowledge and should strive to keep improving as a trainer and that is what I do on a daily basis, as my client I will be in your corner to make sure that we will keep growing from strength to strength.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

Currently I am not taking on remote or online clients but I am sure that will soon change, watch this space

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
