My passion for fitness began in 2000 when I joined the British Army at the age of 18. Having selected Infantry as my chosen route I had no option other than to push myself beyond my level of fitness at that time. In 2007 whilst deployed on operations I was severely injured and I was restricted from doing any form of intense fitness for a good 9-12 months. In that time the weight piled on and I was at the heaviest weight I have ever been.
