I've been going to the gym for a few years now but I was stuck in a rut doing the same routine. I decided to register for a 20 mile obstacle race to set myself a challenge, but I knew I would need some extra help and thats were Gwen James came in. She gave me a 12 week training programme which included 1 session a week at her studio. This was tailor made especially for my requirements. I can't praise Gwen high enough, she pushed me when I wanted to give up and kept every session interesting and challenging. TRAIN HARD RACE EASY was one of Gwen's sayings, at the time I didn't believe it but on race day I was so glad that I listened and put in all the effort. All the hardwork and training paid off and I completed the race and enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend using Gwen James, value for money and a great motivator.

Nicole has been fantastic. I used to attend kettlebell classes about 5 years ago in Poulton, which was really tough and fun. I have recently hired her for one to ones to help me with my basketball after an injury and prepare me to do tough mudder / spartan for next year. She is incredibly knowledgable, helped my knee injury recovery quicker than expected. Introduced me to a mix of weight training, hill sprints, body weight training and building me up to plyometrics. I can not thank her enough, I am able to play basketball again with my work colleagues during the week and know what I need to be doing at the gym between sessions, thanks to her 6 week programming.

What a year!...started my Fitness 50 journey in March as I had decided to run 5k and needed some extra help...fast forward 9 months and I've run 5k and 5k pretty muddy...I've lost inches and pounds and gained muscles where I didnt think existed (in me anyway).
