Matt worked with me on a 12 week programme to improve my strength conditioning and flexibility. He is the most thorough PT I've ever had and really knows his stuff. The training was tough but with his methods, not only did I break through my barrier, but I really got into it, through working on ring, bar, weight lifting and flexibility exercises. On advanced moves he has his technique down to a T and can really push you to the next level. Over the past three months I've made real gains in my strength, my flexibility and learned about methods to mentally focus on tough moves. Most importantly I stayed motivated to push on. Hello! I believe that if your life is crazy, you need sanity in your training. Most of the advice and programs on the internet tend to be overly confusing and only add to the 'crazy'-my aim is to be an antidote to that. I see my own training as one of the foundations that hold the rest of my life together, as it produces what I like to call a 'cascade of positivity'. When I exercise regularly I'm a better partner and father, I'm more patient, more confident and generally just a nicer person to be around! This on top of all the physical benefits (that are too many to list here) makes it as important as brushing your teeth in my eyes. I love my job for so many reasons, but the connections I'm able to form with my clients and the potential for genuine life-long learning are the 2 main ones. Being able to help people that I'm genuinely invested in is incredibly rewarding, and the constant challenge of improving my technical knowledge, customer service etc. means I'm never bored! I work out of a small private studio (The FITT Principle) a 10 minute walk from Central Station. The gym has a really welcoming, chilled atmosphere and at its absolute busiest has 8 people in it including us trainers! Our gym is completely private, so we have absolute control over the space and the amount of people using it at any given time. We clean equipment in real time and deep clean every few days, and have separate entrance and exit doors.
