Dave is an excellent trainer. He is patient, encouraging and motivating and I really like the way he explains things so clearly. Every exercise is broken down and he tells you exactly what you are doing and why. He demonstrates clearly before supporting you the first time you do it. His sessions are well structured: warm up, demonstration, 2 or 3 sets of each main exercise/s and finally a warm down. He knows how to pitch your level so that he is just pushing you a little outside your comfort zone. Would definitely recommend Dave.

Fantastic gym. Anybody is made to feel welcome, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Attended this gym for almost two years but have moved now for one with more group exercise classes & swimming pool though of course that comes with a price, and for the excellent price of TruGym memberships still got to give it top marks!!! If a gym is all you need then look no further, a great range of equipment and never been overcrowded there. Shame there is no parking but considering its location, again, still got to give full marks.

This friendly, women only gym is perfect for all ages and all sizes. The owners, Chris and Suzanne know every member by name and always welcome you as you enter the gym and acknowledges when you leave. That didn't happen when I belonged to a different, bigger gym. I was recently hospitalised with heart problems and Suzanne said she will put a new programme together for me as there are certain exercises that are no longer suitable for me. I know both Suzanne and Chris will keep an eye on me and help me through this.
