There is great satisfaction in meeting a clients expectations and being able to provide the advice they need and then taking that further to providing designs and permissions to see those ideas become something real. It's great when we get feedback not only about the qulity of our designs but also on how we provided much needed relief in dealing with the planning and Party Wall processes.

We have also had the opportunity to work with developers, NHS trusts and Charities in projects that help the wider community and improve the aesthetics and local facilities. To be able to be involved in such projects and see something you have designed being used by so many people is greatly rewarding.
My mother and father both have worked for companies and also owned companies themselves. My father has been involved in the architectural and construction industries for decades and I have always enjoyed the aspects of design and seeing the designs actually become real.
I was influenced by my parents to work for myself, with the understanding that whilst having the flexibility to dictate my own work schedule and projects, there would also be the responsibility to provide the best service possible and grow a business that could continue to offer more, to more people whilst maintaining a high standard of service and product.
As a result I have been able to meet many different clients and work on an array of projects whilst always taking time to keep myself up to date with changes to legislation and educate myself constantly. I have been able to make decisions to work in collaboration with other companies and individuals to further enhance what we can offer our clients and am not limited to having to work on a specific type of architectural design or geographic area and can offer our services to our clients at rates which are affordable to them for the service they require.
The ability to be flexible with time has helped me in being able to spend a lot of time with my own young family and as someone who is happy to work unconventional hours at times to meet a deadline I have been able to adapt, whilst still offering the same level of service even during difficult times such as during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Finally, we have been able to train and provide opportunities to younger people interested in the industry to get paid first hand experience in the design and surveying aspects of our business, visiting sites, meeting clients, providing input and creating a relationship that can continue to grow and benefit both them and our clients in the long term.

Over that time we have built relationships with local authorities in all of the areas we cover to obtain positive outcomes in a timely manner.
Our fees are based on the time we believe a project will require. We do not fee build and we provide a breakdown of the fees up front before commencing any works. Our timelines for completion of our works are efficient and we are always open to accommodating projects that may have shorter deadlines than normal.
In addition to our own services, we have reliable structural consultants and sub-contractors we can introduce clients to, to help with the next phase of the actual building works.

Yes, we work for some clients entirely remotely, in the case of planning consultancy this can be for the entire process.
With the cases of design & planning and Party Wall Matters, at least 1 site visit would be required.
We take lateral flow tests to ensure that we are negative and not putting anyone at risk. In addition, we wear masks when in enclosed spaces and in addition we sanitise both ourselves and our kit before and after every appointment.

Our old chimney was just taking up space and looked out of place, so we decided to get rid of it. This team handled it all seamlessly. Our old garage was just gathering dust, so we decided to turn it into a new playroom for the kids. This team handled the whole conversion and even gave us ideas on making the space feel bigger. The finished room looks amazing, and the kids are thrilled. If you’re thinking of converting your garage, I’d definitely recommend them!

We opted for a side extension to add a utility room and a downstairs WC. The company recommended a pitched roof to match our existing architecture, and their work seamlessly integrated with the original structure. They managed everything from rerouting plumbing to considering the proper ventilation. The space is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and the project was completed on time and within budget.
