I am a muralist, faux finisher, theming artist and sign writer with 19 years of experience in producing high quality, unique murals and signs for commercial and domestic clients. I undertake a wide variety of faux paint effects such as marbelling, wood graining, as well as trompe l'oeil. I work both internally and externally throughout the UK and Europe. I also provide workshops and mural activities for corporates, youth groups, schools and exhibitions. Every mural I paint makes a difference to everyone that comes into contact with it.
I am a trained interior designer and used murals extensively when I was designing as they are a very cost effective way of decorating spaces in a unique and spectacular way. So after I had my children, I decided to mural their rooms as I believe passionately in the effect of the environment on our well being. I then started to paint murals for children before expanding into schools, care homes and businesses in 2008.
The world is not overrun with mural artists, as it is a very difficult and niche skill, but it is still quite easy to find someone who will copy a picture onto a wall for you. That is not what I do. Every mural I paint is designed specifically for my client, so that it is perfect for them. Also, as trained interior designer, I will ensure that it works with the other elements in the room and that the colours are perfect. Why would you have someone else's mural painted when you can have your own. My murals last a very long time, because they have been well thought out and not just copied.
