I love serving diverse organisations, from Yorkshire Ambulance Service to Specsavers, to Birmingham City University, Sandwell College and Gloucestershire County Council etc. I love being on my feet with groups of people, knowing that the strategies I'm sharing, are being used long after the talk has finished ... and of course, I absolutely love speaking about topics which I'm extremely passionate about!
I love the creative side of being a performer.
This includes developing rich content, ensuring that the strategies I share for dealing with burnout, developing resilience, mastering your time, overcoming imposter syndrome etc, are: a) easy to understand and use, b) powerful in developing people's skillset, c) truly original and avoiding same-old/same-old!
It also includes constant self-development as a speaker, so I continue to master my topics whilst also delivering my work in an engaging, relatable and inspirational manner.
Whilst I'm new to Bark, I've been a professional trainer for 12 years and speaker for 5. The feedback I receive from the organisations I serve (there are named testimonials available on my website and linkedin profile) speaks for itself.
Aside from the comments about my energy and passion, a common theme within the feedback, is that people appreciate the strategies I share and the usefulness of them on a day-to-day basis, strategies which they could not have predicted and which were new to them. I'm passionate about avoiding regurgitating the same old advice people have heard a 100 times before and instead, for all my niche areas, providing genuinely, fresh insight on familiar topics (motivation, time, resilience, burnout etc)
Yes, 70% of my work is online, usually via Teams, Zoom and GotoWebinar. I'm equally comfortable in-person or online.
My entire service is available online (inc 1-2-1 coaching, group coaching and keynote speaking) and I continue to keep up to date with government guidance for managing and preventing COVID.

Bex was an absolutely great help as I worked out what I do next, how I sell myself and how best to approach each potential opportunity. Great for me for giving the CV a makeover and practicing interview techniques. Would highly recommend!

I started working with Bex last year, as I needed help in learning how best to apply for roles within the Civil Service and prepare for interviews for them. Bex was able to work with me in a way that suits my needs as someone who likely has ADHD and often struggles to be able to be fully prepared. She was able to help me identify how I need to go about these things to prepare myself, and I found working with her quite enjoyable, when not professing my own worries about not being able to get these roles I applied for, as she's really down-to-earth and fun to work with. Through working with Bex, I've recently been promoted at work for the first time, and am on the reserve for a role the next grade above my current role. I'd definitely recommend Bex for anyone that's struggling with confidence, or who just needs a bit of structure and guidance to make sure things are moving in the right direction.
