There's a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the level of instruction is second to none in the area and there's a large number of classes available to fit around your routine, including in the mornings. The prices are transparent, excellent value for money and tailored to how often you want to train. My four year old daughter also trains here and absolutely loves it. The instructors are fantastic with the children, making martial arts easy to understand but more importantly fun. There's nowhere else that either of us would want to train.

I put my almost-4-year-old twins into a Sun Hang Do class in Port Coquitlam because I thought martial arts would appeal to them, and other martial arts schools said they were too young. They love the under 6 class, and the teacher Mr. Park is amazing with children. I've learned more about Sun Hang Do now - it's a mix of karate, tae kwon do, self defense and gymnastics with high energy music and teaching. My twins love it so much, my nephew, two nieces and stepson have also all started taking lessons. Mr. McIlmoyl is really nice, and offers free trial classes until you're comfortable, which I appreciated because I didn't want to commit until I was sure they would like this.

A recently formed club with quality instruction from a long term karateka who knows his subject. Having seen the instruction and after speaking to the instructor I am confident that this club will be a huge success and in demand by both beginners and experienced students alike. Having previously done some karate myself years ago I can assure you that these are the classes my children will be attending, when old enough. Well impressed!
