Find a Martial Arts Class in Derby

After having a trial class without any compromise I just thought I had at least to enroll at the beginners course although without too big expectations on keeping with the classes after the course due to the fact that I have a very busy after-work activities. But after the course I just had to re-prioritize my activities, as Aikido Shoshinkan had to be a regular one! I feel really happy on keeping with the training in such a High Standard but friendly environment.Everyone should give it a try with no compromise and feel it's good vibe atmosphere.

Been training with Saf since 2017 and it’s been a pleasure. Top top man full of information. Great at teaching, taught me everything i know from a very beginner level. Saf will motivate you constantly to be the best version of yourself, not just in fighting, but activities outside of training too. Since joining the gym my confidence has increased massively! He welcomes people from all walks of life into the gym and treats everyone equally. Whether your just trying to get fit, want to be able to defend yourself or have a desire to compete Saf is the perfect coach. If you’re on the fence about starting training my advice would be just to turn up! Its one of the best things i’ve ever done. I highly highly recommend SafMma

Top martial arts training, very competent instructors and a brilliant environment!

Deciding that my children would join NTC Derby has to be the best parenting decision I have made. I cannot emphasise enough how incredibly beneficial these classes are; not just for physical fitness or learning the taekwondo moves (although this is a great benefit in itself), but for the life skills they are acquiring. The tenets they memorise are implemented beautifully during class, and as each week goes by I can see improvements in their listening skills, showing respect to others (as well as themselves), and their willingness to try challenging tasks. Samer Jamous is uniquely talented in providing a programme for children that promotes self-esteem, self-confidence and self-control. He has built a great rapport with the kids who absolutely love him and really look forward to classes. He has a real gift with his mix of technical expertise and generosity of spirit. We feel very proud of the fact that NTC Derby is the only club in the city that teaches Olympic taekwondo and is recognised, fully registered and insured with British Taekwondo – the governing body. The cost is surprisingly lower than average, yet the service is definitely above and beyond. Parents are kept well informed with regular communication which is great. NTC Derby is a family-friendly club dedicated to the art of taekwondo which I think my children are very privileged to attend. Thank you!

Been doing it for nearly 4 years couldn’t go anywhere better honestly

My son is just starting on his karate journey and I have to say that I can already see the difference in him. He loves attending the sessions and is proud to wear his kit. Thank you.
