MIDA’s talent and eye for design is extraordinary. Their ability to look at a space and transform it the way they do is truly an amazing skill!
Their attention to detail, mixing old world charm with new, the colours, the textures... When I moved into my home a few years ago Missy flew over to Dublin to help me with the set up and décor in my new home.
Their professionalism and expertise was excellent all while not forgetting MY taste and ‘wish list’. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome and plan to use MIDA again and again in the future!

Having qualified from KLC School of Design with a Certificate in Interior Design I work as a freelance Interior Designer for Decorbuddi.com. We work closely with you to create beautiful spaces that are both functional and stylish, from full Interior Design packages including liaising with builders and architects, to simple room designs and boards. We are happy to discuss with you all of the options that are available and hopefully assist you in creating the home of your dreams.

My project was a total renovation of a cottage. After our initial consultation, Jo created a mood board and sought honest feedback on each room. It was a journey which Jo guided me through and with her knowledge and Vision have now got an amazing nearly completed cottage. Jo was always on hand to provide advise and shopped like crazy to deliver furniture, soft furnishings all on time and in budget.
A very talented lady who is still very humble and delivers outstanding value for money bespoke design service.

I highly recommend Home Envy. Both pairs of curtains and tie backs I ordered are stunning and exceeded my expectations. I also order a foot stool which I love and which has been much admired. Everything was delivered on time and is of the highest quality. I am delighted with the service I have received and am very pleased to have discovered such a great company.
We are a holistic design studio based in Oxford. As a female-led, purpose-driven business, we specialise in designing wonderfully stylish and functional spaces that will make your life easier, healthier, and more enjoyable. We design personalised residences that make your life easier, healthier, and more enjoyable. Because home is not just a physical structure but a scaffolding for our dreams, needs and emotions. We believe mindful interior design enhances our well-being.
A typical project begins with a conversation to understand your brief and the scope of work required, we then progress to an initial consultation in your home or a virtual tour remotely (which suits).
Projects are divided into 3 main stages, most clients require all 3 but some prefer to manage the installation and work themselves and as time and funds allow.
Stage 1
Stage 1 - Discovery
- brainstorm images (mood board) depicting the overall feel for the area we are designing together
. These are nonspecific images and purely set the scene before proceeding to the design stage.
Stage 2 - Design intent and room layouts
- design concept images depicting solutions for each room, supported by product samples (where available)
- scaled room layouts showing placement of furniture.
- a full list of products required and their availability
- amendments to the design are made at this point if necessary
Stage 3 – Procurement, project management, and installation
- specifications produced for any trades involved in the implementation of the design
- scheduling of works
- orders placed with all suppliers and deliveries and installation managed
- project management throughout until final installation
- room styling and photography
Over the past 20 years, we've catered for many style preferences. The most prevalent in the past few years have definitely been influenced by Scandinavia, but we cater for all forms of contemporary, both urban and country, plus traditional and classic designs for more period homes.
We love how creating a beautiful home or work place can positively alter how our clients feel in that space. Producing a sense a wellness and positivity is our goal. Visual aesthetics are important, but there are many elements to interior design that are often unnoticed but make all the difference.
It has its challenges, but in general running our own business means we are in control of the work we choose to take on. We love that we can be flexible and adjust to each individual project. No two projects are the same and we love the rush of a new project and the glow of the finished one. Owning that total job satisfaction is worth the pain of the long hours and stressful highlights.
We love people! It's in understanding how people live and their needs that really inspires us. Interior designers can have the ability to see opportunities in your home or office that you won't. We've made many mistakes over the years so you don't have to. We've invested, and continue to invest, in our design education. We have access to trades and suppliers that are not known by all and in the long run can save you money. Often design fees are covered by the savings in time, energy and investment in products.
