At NW each project is unique and I pride myself on not having a ‘house style’. Instead designs are rooted in my clients wants and needs to provide designs that are perfectly suited to them and their home. I founded NW interiors in 2022 after 12 years in the design indusrty, specialising in residential design. I’m a BIID Registered Interior Designer which means I have met the British Institute of Interior Design’s professional entry requirements covering qualifications, experience and professionalism. My offerings are adapatable to a projects size and budgets and can include bespoke joinery design, on-site project management, as well as remote design consultations, virtual design presentations, and 3D visuals.
Consultation: The first step in our interior design process is to meet with our clients to discuss their project requirements, budget, and timeline. During this consultation, we will gather information about the space and the client's preferences, style, and needs.
Space Planning: Once we have a good understanding of the client's requirements, we will create a space plan that maximizes the use of the available space while taking into account the client's needs and preferences. We will consider the flow of the space, the placement of furniture, and the functionality of each area.
Concept Development: After the space plan has been approved, we will begin to develop a concept for the design. This includes selecting color schemes, materials, and finishes, as well as determining the overall style and aesthetic of the space. We will create mood boards and sketches to help the client visualize the final design.
Design Development: Once the concept has been approved, we will move on to the design development phase. This includes selecting furniture, lighting, and decor items that will be used in the space. We will work on creating detailed drawings and plans for any custom pieces that may be needed.
Procurement: After the design has been finalized, we will begin to source and purchase all of the necessary materials, furniture, and decor items. We will work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure that everything is delivered on time and within budget.
Installation: Once all of the materials and items have been procured, we will oversee the installation of the design. This includes coordinating with contractors and ensuring that all of the elements are installed correctly and to our specifications.
Final Walkthrough: Once the installation is complete, we will conduct a final walkthrough with the client to ensure that everything meets their expectations. We will make any necessary adjustments and ensure that the space is clean and ready for use.
