Hello! My name is Brooke, and here is a little background insight to me… I studied Visual Design at college, this covered a variety of design practises including textiles, fashion, graphics & photography. After studying such a wide variety of design, it made me realise that I loved the collaboration of all these elements and how perfectly they could all seamlessly fit into becoming an interior designer. I then took my education & love for design further as I attained my BA Hons in Interior Design & Decoration. Over the years I have worked for numerous well respected & award-winning interior design studios. Where my work can be found in numerous magazines, I was also shortlisted for Design KB awards New Designer 2019. After gaining such valuable industry knowledge I decided to start Brooke Harmony Design in 2020. I have an absolute love for all things branding and design. I’ve been using the Abode suite for over 10 years. Whether it’s starting a brand from the ground up or a refresh. From logos, Instagram content and marketing tools I’d be more than happy to help! During my years I have worked alongside property developers, private clients & also companies in the commercial sector. I pride myself on being honest, approachable and open with clients from the ‘get go’ as I believe design is a personal process and should be dealt with in the same approachable way.
Creating a home is a personal process and it is vital that everyone involved feels comfortable. With all prospective clients I start with an initial meeting for introductions and to give both parties the opportunity to gain a sense of chemistry. From the Brief to the Concept Design, to Specifying the right products at the right budget, to overseeing the implementation of the design on site and delivering the fully realised design - my services are tailored to provide your project with the support it needs from start to end. My practical approach to design is focused on supporting projects from start to completion with honest industry advice and common sense solutions. I believe that every project is tailored to suit the client however here is a brief breakdown to what you made entail on our journey:

What I love most about my job is being diverse, understanding a brief and delivering a space/design you love. Of course, I have my own personal style, but I love being pushed by my client’s individuality and I’m committed to never producing the same scheme twice.
I love building relationships with clients, really understanding what they imagine and would like to achieve in their ideal space and being able to guide and suggest with my industry knowledge to create their perfect home/brand. To be able to have creative freedom is a beautiful thing about my job which then leads me into a variety of styles and outcomes.
I’ve been fortunate enough to hold a variety of design jobs in London; London Bridge as well as Chelsea. I’d loved every minute of working for other companies who have indeed taught me a lot about design, business as well as myself as an individual. The ones I have loved the most are the ones I’ve been able to contribute not just as a designer but have let me work alongside their business plans when restructuring the company, particularly when there have been problems or obstacles that need solving.
However, no matter how challenging or how well paid my jobs have been, the entrepreneur has always been in me. I began to ask myself what my true motivations in life and work were – freedom and independence came up on top.
Designing someone's home, business or brand is a personal collaboration - I may be the professional in this relationship therefore it is my job as a designer to listen & interoperate your ideas. Being ready to make those compromises along the way as I learn more about the way you live/use the space (or intend to at that!). By creating spaces/brand tailored around specific personalities, I find that every project ends up completely unique, despite being led by my own underlying design style.
