What do you love most about your job?

We are passionate about providing an high standard of care and to allow individuals to continue to live with in their won homes and to be a valued part of their local community. I love working with people, making people happy and making a difference to a persons life. Life should be for living regardless of age, and I want to be able to support people to continue to live their life to the fullest in every way possible.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was inspired to start my own business through working in care for over 20 years, and seeing what is good and not so good with in the care sector. One of the biggest things that I found was people were having less choice over the way that they wanted to have their care provided, and a lot of people were requiring to go in to care homes, when they would much rather stay with int heir own homes, but this was not always possible due to the lack of a high standard of provision of care in the community, and care not being offered in the right way such as night visits and 24 hour care. So our company ethos has been designed that we are here to support individuals in the way in which they want to eb supported, and the care packages are designed to meet the individual needs rather than a standardised format to enable people to stay in their own homes, and to give people an alternate option to residential care.

We are a small family run domically care agency, and this allow us to have that personal touch with the people who use our service with individuals and loved ones not only building up a relationship with our staff but with also the manager and director, and we are always here to Speake to directly rather than just being a name on a email.
Collectively the director and the manager has over 20 years of health and social care experience to ensure that all services are being provided to the highest standards, meeting the individuals needs and complying with all of government and local legal requirements.

Although the neature of our business our services are provided face to face. However we do have a family portal that families/ loved ones can log into to be able to review the care that is being provided in real time, review notes/ information held, view photographs and leave messages for the manager to be able to review, so this opens a clear and transparent way of communicating and reviewing care together.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

We follow all of the governments and local authorities guidance in relation to covid 19.
