On the other hand our supported living services help adults with a range of needs to live independently and safely in their local communities. This includes individuals with autism, brain injuries, learning disabilities, Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), forensic needs, mental health needs and those who present with behaviours that may challenge. We work in a person-centred way, which means that our support and care is completely bespoke, and perfectly matched to the unique needs, preferences and aspirations of each individual. One of our options of support is supported living for young people and adults with learning disabilities, where our team supports people to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. In this setting, we work closely with housing associations, private landlords and local agencies to offer community-based support which could include a flat scheme or shared property. For those with more complex support needs, our residential care provides an environment where people can live with the reassurance of one-to-one care in a community setting. Our residential homes give people with learning disabilities the opportunity to live together and receive 24-7 support from our highly trained and dedicated teams. All of our homes are located in the heart of local communities with excellent transport links, and so provide the perfect setting to enjoy exploring new places, meeting up with family and friends and getting involved in new hobbies and interests. What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to help people who need it most. It's extremely rewarding to be able to provide comfort and support to those who need it. It's also great to build relationships with my clients, and to be part of their lives in a positive way.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I had been working in the care sector for many years and had grown frustrated with the lack of quality in certain areas such as staffing levels, training and management. I saw an opportunity to create a better care service and provide a higher level of care for those in need. I wanted to make a difference and provide a more personalized and compassionate approach to care. With my experience and skills, I decided to start my own care business to bring the highest standards of care to my clients.
