It is our policy to always listen to the needs and wishes of our Service Users, both at the initial assessment and then at regular reviews. We love helping people remain as independent as possible within their own homes.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Blakewater Homecare Services Ltd. was born out of the founder’s experience of receiving poor quality end of life care for a close family member. We wanted to do something that would have a positive impact towards improving care for others, and that would allow people to make choices about how to remain living independently in their own homes.

Sometimes the things we used to do easily can become a little more difficult, such as taking a bath, getting dressed in the morning or using the toilet.

This can feel frustrating, but it shouldn’t stop you getting on with your usual routine. We support people to do these things so they can continue to live independently and with confidence.
Or perhaps you have more complicated needs, maybe you require the Support of two Care Workers several times a day, and you have a hoist? All our Support Workers undergo Moving and Handling theory, assessment and practical training, which is refreshed annually to be able to support you competently.
We aim to provide personalised home care services that suit every client’s individual requirements and circumstances perfectly.
Our clients are at the forefront of everything we do, and we believe that the warmth and expertise of our team is the key to great care.
All of our Homecare assistants are highly trained, fully insured, reference checked and DBS cleared.
