The aim of the Girassol Community Care is to provide our service users a highest standard of care to people in need to enable them to remain in their own home.
The company objectives is to treat service users with consideration, respect and that they are safeguard from risk of abuse.
We aim to promote the independence and high quality of life to our service users through the provision of a professional, reliable and consistent service.
Girassol Community Care will support the service users by assisting and improving the quality of their lives whilst maintaining their independence and personal choice.
The company will provide training, recruitment and personal development to enable the care needs of services users to be met and too ensure that the work is carried out within company code of practice.
For each service user we will undertake a risk assessment. The Manager will visit the service users in the home environment to ensure a safe working environment for service users and for our care workers and to identify any risks.
The company will provide to each service user a person-centred care plan, which will cover every aspect of their daily living. The domiciliary care needs assessment will be undertaken, prior the provision of the care services (or within 2 working days in exceptional circumstances) by the manager or by staff who trained to do so, using appropriate methods of communication so that the service user and their representatives, are fully involved.
These will be reviewed every six months by the management or more often if the service users requirements change. Service users and relatives are actively encourage to get involved with the care of their loved one.

Support with Personal Care Needs:
• Assisting you in/out of bed
• Helping with all hygiene tasks
a. Assisting to wash and dress

Domestic Tasks:
• Help with all light domestic duties
• Helping you to keep your home clean and tidy:
This could include helping you to clean your house, mopping/ vacuum floors, making or changing beds, helping you to wash up, disinfecting surfaces, emptying rubbish bins or dusting surfaces.
Shopping:
• We provide assistance to do all your shop needs
Companionship/Sitting Services:
Our staff remain with Service User during agreed periods of the day or night
During these periods, they will be available to carry out any household or personal tasks that are necessary, and have been agreed in your Care Plan.
They will also monitor your condition to be sure that your well-being is maintained and that you are safe and comfortable.
