Jovan Sewell Photography is run by London based photographer Jovan. Jovan has had a love for photography ever since he first picked up a camera in 2016. 2 years of being a hobbyist photographer he decided to make a big career change and take a leap of faith in 2018, Jovan took the necessary steps to turn his hobby into a full time job with hard work and determination. 3 years later and Jovan hasn't looked back since, he enjoys the day to day of being a photographer and everything that comes with it.

Portraits by the artistic greats are instantly recognisable by the hand that painted them. From Picasso to Michelangelo, every artist has their own peculiar techniques and individual creative vision. In a world where anyone can buy a camera and brand themselves a ‘photographer’, I endeavour to give my pictures this same sense of authorship. I studied photography Ba (hon's) at the Surrey Institute of Art and also taught photography theory at City and Islington College. For Valery, photography is more than just a profession. It is a true lifelong passion. The curiosity for photography started for her at the young age of 9, inspired by her father's Yashica first and by the documentaries of Henry Cartier-Bresson, Annie Leibovitz, and Oliviero Toscani later. Seduced by the art of storytelling, Valery decided to start her path as a professional photographer.
