I'm a professional guitar tutor based in Leeds and I have been playing for over 25 years. I have a degree in creative music technology and also work as a home based guitar technician. I teach all levels and styles and all I ask is that students are keen to learn and dedicate time to practice between lessons. I charge £20 per hour or £15 for 45 minutes. I view each student as individually unique and promise to help you achieve your musical goals.

Great guitarist and all round nice guy! I've been taking lessons for 6 months + now and I can't of imagined I would have reached this standard. Baz understands the importance of having that one hour lesson and no time is ever wasted like I felt it has been with previous teachers. He is not just watching you play stuff out of a book and correcting you.
Thanks

Business overview I have been teaching guitar since I was18 and have taught clients of all ages (from 4 years to 80 years). From my mid 20s I also began to teach bass Guitar and keyboards. Pob Butterscotch
First class guitar tutor. Sion is extremely patient, and always has suggestions as to what to learn next, and what to practice at home. He always remembers to contact me to arrange a lesson, and is extremely accommodating with which days and times he can offer, which is invaluable as I work shifts and can’t make regular appointments. Highly recommended.

I've been to quite a few guitar teachers over the years and finding a good one is a hit and miss affair. Mostly misses to be honest, there's a lot of hacks out there. Graham is another league entirely however. Apart from being an amazing player he has the knack of explaining everything in clear and simple terms. My playing has improved massively. Strongly recommended.

John is a great teacher. On my first lesson, which was free, we covered exactly were I was with my playing and were I want to be in a few years time. He assessed my equipment and playing and recommended exactly what he intended doing with our time. Since I started taking lessons my playing has come on leaps and bounds. We run scales and techniques and each week I come away with some 'homework' and the feeling I have accomplished something during the lesson.

Seeing my students develop in to the guitar players they want to be is why I teach guitar. It is the most enjoyable and rewarding job I have had the priviledge to do. I have seen how the learning of the guitar (and other instruments) can change peoples lives and give them a rewarding hobby or the potential of a new career.
I started my business during the last recession. While Jobless and facing a tired and unfulfilling job interviews, I decided to set my self up as a guitar teacher and try out a new vocation, which gave me the rewards and freedom I was looking for. I set up my business with a small government loan, I searched out one of the UK's best mentors who would help me become a professional muscian. It has turned out to be the best career decision I could have made and I love it.
This is a full time profession, so my students recieve a professional who is only interestred to their musical development. I provide a dedicated studio where all lessons are given. Most importantly I focus on the indvidual, I do not give out generic advice and I give students the best techniques to help them play. Everyone learns at their own pace. I do not pressurise students, unless I need to, lessons are meant to be as much fun as possible, without compromising the standards of teaching and learning.
