What do you love most about your job?

Having studied at some of the best conservatoires in the world, Barbara and her tutors know the importance of having inspiring teachers who are able to let you feel their passion for what they do. Being a teacher is about more than sitting in a chair and supervising a pupil playing scales.

It is about being able to pass on the magic of music to our students!

What inspired you to start your own business?

After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal College of Music, Barbara, the director and founder of Fireworks Music School, phoned a group of friends from these prestigious conservatoires to discuss the idea of founding a new music school together. The core principle of this new school was to have great teachers who were also outstanding performers - abolishing the idea that 'those who can do, those who can't teach’. Our belief is that those who can, teach better, and their pupils have better results as a consequence.

We play, breathe and live music every day, and our pupils thrive on our love of music.

We teach to inspire.
