I've been on a few of these walks & enjoyed them all. Much insight & connection to mother nature is shared by Danielle & James whom lead the walks. They also encourage us to sample the delights on offer and often bring along a pre-made concoction/taster of a herb/plant we are learning about for us to sample e.g. a tea, pesto etc, a really nice addition :) Also they have a range of great books on hand to buy. Last but no least, it's a great opportunity to meet others whom share your curiosity and hearing about their related experiences/stories. Maybe see you at the next one, Jamie :)

After seeing Lawnsmith's Landscapes work on our next door neighbours garden we decided to have some work done by them ourselves. In one day they laid lawn and trimmed a whole row of trees for us. The garden was very tidy when I got home so you would never know either and a sprinkler was even provided in the cost - which was a very good and reasonable amount. I am already arranging a meeting to discuss further work due to the great work they have already done. Would highly recommend.

In 2007 at the age of 16 Mark Pratt started a little gardening business. in 2012 we called ourselves Mark's Lawn Service to reflect our specialist lawn treatment work. In 2022 we have changed to Maratt Lawn & Garden to better reflect our broad service offer, and it's not just Mark anymore! Since our inception, the business has flourished, looking back we can put the success down to hard work, being reliable and trustworthy, having an eye for detail, being creative and.

We’re extremely happy with the finish and quality of work done by Matt and Jamie. Our new block paved driveway and extended Indian stone patio has totally transformed the exterior of our house. Would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be using them for any future projects. Thanks again guys 👍🏻

Seb is fantastic, hard working, thorough and friendly. We have used him for over 2 years now and are so pleased that he was recommended to us. He has transformed our garden little by little, it’s never looked so good. He’s also amazing with our little boys, one of whom was recently pushing a toy wheelbarrow round my parents garden when he announced “I’m a Seb!” Cries of “Seb’s here! Seb’s here” accompany his arrival each time.

A socially and environmentally conscious company, doing good work to advise about, create and manage amenity plantings for the 21st century. It's a nice place to walk and see colourful swathes of naturalistic flower beds, views across Sheffield and some local history in the form of the information boards adjacent to a Tudor manor house that is also part of this site. Pictoral Meadows grounds also has a kids play area, cafe and discovery centre but as I haven't tried any of them I can't comment on their quality. The manor house hosts weddings. A company called Green Estates that is associated with Pictoral Meadows is also located in the same site. It sells locally collected green waste that they have turned into compost. It is cheap at £1 per bag and can be used as a, sustainable, garden soil conditioner. Nearby is Manor Fields Park, former industrial site (coking plant) now converted to an informal local park and home for wildlife. Green Estates also manage the park. If you want to extend your walk/visit, this parkland area is supplemented by City Road Cemetry in which grows mature trees and an interesting derelict church.
