I provide circus acts and for special events. I specialise in aerial acrobatic acts for weddings and corporate entertainment. My aerial acts include aerial silks, aerial hoop and aerial drinks pouring (aerial bartending). Furthermore I also provide ground based entertainment: hula hooping, glow hula hooping and fire shows. Workshops on aerial and ground based skills can also be booked instead of as part of the entertainment. Aerial hoop and silks acts are bookable as a choreographed high impact act (approx. 5-7min long), or as an ambient set/meet&greet (approx. 20min long), or both. Either option can be booked as a solo act (1x performer), or as a duo act (2x performers), subject to rigging conditions. Aerial bartending is often booked as a meet&greet act, where the guests raise their glass to be filled up by the performer dangling by an aerial hoop. It can also be booked with one or more aerial bartenders. The aerial acts are offered for both indoor and outdoor venues. Some indoor venues have rigging facilities in place already (I.e. lighting rig of truss/beam). I can provide rigging myself, or in some situations depending on the venue I recommend hiring one of my riggers as well. For outdoor events, I own a free standing aerial rig from which I can perform all solo acts. The rig is 5 metres high and it takes 30 min to set up and to take down. It is hassle free and I am fully trained to put it up and down. My free standing rig can also be set up indoors at venues that haven't got rigging facilities. I have costumes and music to suit many popular themes, such as Circus, Greatest Showman, 20's/Great Gatsby, Winter Wonderland, Woodland, Halloween, Spanish/Latin, Atlantis, Black&White and any other colour requirements. I also do other themes that the client might ask for that are not necessarily listed above. I can also work with the live music at the event. I hold public liability insurance up to £10million. I have over a decade of experience at event entertainment, which has enabled me to work with a great deal of professional performers and riggers. Now, I only choose to work with the most reliable people in the industry and I provide not only quality entertainment, but also a reliable service and smooth booking process.
I really love the fact that the type of entertainment I provide is something so different and unique. Aerial acrobatics is a very skilled art that requires constant dedication, both physically and emotionally. Clients always admire the high impact and the beautiful skills involved in an aerial act, even those that didn't quite know what to expect. During the 5 or 20 minutes of an aerial act, everyone can't help but admire the spectacle of the performers dancing in the air. I always get a lot of appreciation comments at the end of a show for the level of skill and bravery shown, and that makes me feel proud of what I do. I like touching people's hearts and imagination and transport them out of their daily lives if only just for a short amount of time.
I like being the boss of me, and I get a thrill from speaking to potential clients, from the negotiation process and in general from doing business. I worked a number of "proper jobs" before starting my own business, but I always felt that as hard as I worked for those other employers I never saw a direct impact on my wages or the organisation as a whole. I always felt like I was working extremely hard for someone else. Running my own business is very much about self investment, and I can see the time and effort I invest on it makes an immediate positive impact.
