Dave was professional when we met. He made a fuss of my bouncy lab and wasn't fazed by the excitement. A schedule was arranged and agreed and amended when I got the timing wrong. I had a picture whilst I was away which was reassuring and my dog looked very happy. Would definitely recommend and I will use him again

So, Dotty Dog, where did it begin? I’m not sure where, all I know is the love I have for dogs and animals is unconditional. I remember wanting to work with animals from being a little girl, trying to rescue the baby birds that fell from my grandad’s roof when they grazed their knees, they never survived, but I tried anyway. Our first family dog, Prince, was an enormous Rough Collie and I remember being dragged across Charlton Brook face down when he chased another dog but I would not let go of that lead, no way.

Ben Haigh founded Sticks ‘N’ Bones in 2015 following four years working as a senior care worker in a care home for the elderly. Growing up surrounded by family pets including dogs, cats and even chickens and as a keen pet owner himself, he realised that with his family’s busy life style, looking after the animals was almost a full time job. This gave Ben the idea that other pet owners would be in the same position and in 2015, with the support of his parents, he took the plunge and established his pet care company, Sticks ‘N’ Bones.
