As a dog owner, I understand that your dog is more than a pet, he or she is a member of the family and deserving of the highest standards of care. I hold a “Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Diploma” from the New Skills Academy and a separate Canine First Aid Certificate (valid until Jan 2020), in addition I am currently studying for a qualification in Dog Training. I am fully insured as a dog walker, my vehicle (where required) is dog safe and has easy access for older or smaller dogs.

Farley and I met Peter and Burt shortly after we moved to the area last year when I was looking for someone trustworthy and reliable to walk Farley for me. I had previously engaged someone else, but they didn't inspire confidence, so when I met Peter I was overjoyed.Peter, Burt and Farley are firm friends and Peter is very generous with his time and advice. When I'm at home, we go out for walks together, when I'm not, Peter and Burt provide the company and exercise Farley needs.I am a very satisfied customer and would recommend Peter to anyone looking for a kind, caring, knowledgeable and professional dog walker.

Natalie has looked after our dog since she was a puppy and my dog is always excited when we drop her off which says how much she enjoys it there. Dottie and Doug offer a home from home environment and each dog is individually cared for like her own. For example, our dog had injured her foot and Natalie replaced the bandage and put in special measures in place to keep the dogs cool during the hot summer months. I have full trust in leaving my dog at Dottie and Doug and love that my dog is well socialised and exercised with other dogs under her care.

Having been in the Pet Care Industry for over 15 years the answers could go on for a long time! I get to see every breed, size and age of dog you can imagine! I also get to meet their amazing owners too, some of my clients have been with me since the start of my business (2001), I am lucky to have loyal clients who I have built a very good relationship with. All of these factors make my job very rewarding.
All the dogs in my care are treated just like my own. I love having different doggies from all types of background to look after, meeting new clients and getting to know dog and owner is something I really enjoy.
Seeing rescue dogs in my care come out of their shell with other dogs and/or people with the socialising I offer in a sensible experienced environment is something that really is rewarding.
I get immense satisfaction seeing the puppies I look after grow into well behaved confident dogs.
I enjoy doing basic training using modern reward based training methods
Where to start! I grew up with various animals including our many Border Collies so Dogs have always been a part of my life since birth. I enjoyed attending training classes and agility with them. I always wanted my own dogs to be with me as much as possible every single day so in 2001 I started my carer in the Professional Canine world.
In 2002 I worked for a high profile family as a personal Dog Keeper, due to the experience and natural way I have with dogs I was offered the role long term and worked for the family for 7 years, I was then in turn recommended to other high profile clients and found myself in demand. As time went on I realised there was a niche for the services I was thinking of offering to other people, it was then that I decided to take on new clients and work for myself rather than be in a employed role.
