The Yorkshire Lassie has been walking our dog for the last couple of weeks while I’ve been away. Not only is she professional in her approach, she is great with our daft golden retriever and I am more than happy to trust her to look after the woof and take him out at agreed times (which is not the case with all dog walkers). Highly recommended.

Friendly caring and professional approach. I have used the service twice, once at short notice and Pam was very accommodating. I feel very reassured leaving my house keys with her knowing the cat is going to be getting some much needed TLC whilst I'm away!!Pam is clearly passionate about her service and this is evident and the cutest thing is reading the daily chart explaining what they've been up to!! :)Thanks again... This is a good question and one of the primary concerns of many people in need of a trustworthy dog walker. It’s completely justifiable too; we are essentially strangers who need access to your home to take care of what is basically a member of the family. I have built trust and great relationships with my client base over many years. I have strict agreements regarding security with all of my customers, especially regarding house keys, lock boxes, and contact details. Every client and their dog is different, so responsibilities naturally vary – but I always maintain the highest level of professionalism. This is evidenced by my current client base but also obvious when you look at my customer reviews and star rating on my Bark profile. It’s a great way to provide transparency in this line o
It’s hard to say as it all depends on the customer's location, plus different dogs love different walks. Rawcliffe Park is one of my favourites as the River Ouse runs alongside it, which is great for dogs that love the water. Hob Moor is fantastic for athletic dogs with lots of energy, as they have plenty of space to tire themselves out. Sometimes a short walk by the old medieval walls near York Minster is all the dog needs. It’s all about knowing what each dog likes.
The most dogs I have ever walked at any one time is six, but I doubt I’ll be doing that again. I typically draw the line at three or four, so I can give each dog my full attention. If by chance my customers live close together I might take several dogs out at the same time, but I generally like to keep each customer and their dog(s) separate. Not all dogs are comfortable around other animals or in other people’s homes, and I respect that.
