‘20 Certificate of Excellence

I have been dog walking now for over 3 years and we offer dog walking, puppy and elderly dog visits. The business is fully insured under pet plan sanctuary, I am disclosure Scotland checked and have a canine first aid certificate. We do not own a field or walk double figures of dogs because we feel that with this ratio of dogs we can give your dog more of a service and ensure theirs and our own safety. We walk dogs in public places such as Vogrie country park,Springfield mill etc we believe that this is important to your dog to teach your dog boundaries and so your dog learns even in the short time their with us how to behave around other dogs, meeting people they don’t know, on the odd occasion meeting horses. It also helps with your dog walking on the lead because we are walking in public places there are times your dog will be put on lead and realise that this isn’t a punishment but still a good thing ?

What do you love most about your job?

Meeting new dogs, actually seeing how far some dogs have come since I started them whether that be they could fit under my arm when I started them and now their all grown up and defInItely don‘t or whether that dog was vocal and now more settled, the dog had no recall but through positive reinforcement and lots of enrichment the dog now does these are the things I love about dog walking. And dogs are so much easier to get on with than people lol

What inspired you to start your own business?

When I first started dog walking I worked full time in retail which I hated I started off walking my friends mums dogs as she was unable to loved getting up early before work or going over after work at taking the guys out for a nice chilled walk. Dog walking isn’t always easy we hear all the time ow what an easy job it requires you to be able to see round corners and every walk requires my full attention but I love it and when I left retail over two years ago the business and the dogs have became my whole life and that fulfils me

Why should our clients choose you?

If any of the information above has left you thinking still why should I choose this guy over every other dog walker in the area contact me ask me questions not everyone is for everyone and I totally get that there are other great dog walkers out their that I know and work close with so if my service isn’t what your looking for I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction
