Had a doggy bootcamp on Saturday and we can see the difference in our little puppy nala already. We are first time puppy parents and had a very excited jumpy bitey puppy but you can see she is getting calmer by the day. We have been shown what to focus on and how to introduce commands and to build on them and provide good mental stimulation for our pup. We were left with a lot of homework but it definitely pays off. Also we felt very well prepared for our first walk which I was originally quite nervous about. We have also taken nala for a walk alongside another client so we could get our puppy socialising and build up her manners.

A few weeks ago Jo came to help me with settling a very confused little girl foxy, who was taken from her family very quickly and brought to me and my busy house with children and another dog. Jo came for an hour or so on a Sunday morning and within a day or so I had the dogs sharing the same space. They are now the best of friends and play like sisters and it is just amazing to see the transformation. You can’t always see what’s right in front of you when you’re a loving human because you just deal with the pups from your heart. Highly highly recommend!!! I got in touch with Jamie for my 10 month old (at the time) which was resource guarding very badly. Jamie came round for an initial assessment and advised us the issues right away. We had a number of 1-1’s with Jamie where we carried out different techniques to help & saw a massive improvement in our Cavapoo. Jamie did recall training with myself and my dog, as we came to a conclusion one of the issues was that he was under exercised as only being walked and not getting the run he needed. Since letting my Cavapoo off the lead, this has changed him drastically. We are now down to minimal resource guarding and also he has calmed down so much since burning that energy off.
Jamie has always called us out of sessions to see how we are getting on & I have been sending videos across which Jamie has praised our dogs behaviour as well as advised areas to improve on.
We have since joined Jamie’s group dog class which has helped interact our dog with other dogs, this was also an area he needed to improve on. Again, this has massively helped our dogs confidence and behaviour!
Couldn’t recommend Jamie enough, our dog is now like a completely different dog. Still areas to improve on but Jamie has been with us every step of the way. Will be recommending Jamie to any friends, family or fellow dog owners who are struggling.
