One of the most important components for balancing a dog's well being is exercise, the walks play a vital part in the dog's health and behaviour. Also, I realised that each dog is an individual and has their own particular needs, especially rescue dogs. After adopting our two retired racing greyhounds, I became really interested in providing a good life for our and other peoples dogs. This developed into a wider interest and I have done voluntary work at Frandham Rehoming Kennels in River and Pampered Pooch Pet Parlour in Dover. Starting up my own business as a dog walker was a natural progression as I discovered I had a real passion for working with dogs.
I care about all dogs and the dogs can sense my love for them. Doverdoggies will provide you with individual care for your dog/s. I am very happy to walk your dog on it's own, as I believe that the dogs happiness and safety are the most important thing. I do not walk lots of dogs at one time as I prefer much smaller groups of dogs that are compatible. Initially, your dog would be walked on their own for the first few days. Then only when I am 100% convinced that they can walk with other dogs,I will then match them up with one or two buddies. If your dog will never be able to walk with other dogs then that's fine, he/she still deserves his/her walkies!
The dogs are the most enjoyable part of my job, secondly the lovely walks on Western Heights, Aycliffe, White Cliffs Country Park and the North Downs Way and many more.
