My journey started in 2011 when I joined a local pet rescue centre as a volunteer. Soon enough we adopted my dog - Beta. Various dog training, health and psychology workshops, books and events were just the beginning. I still remember my debut as a professional dog show handler in 2014 and opening my business soon after. My goal is not to be yet another service provider though - I want to be a friend you can call whenever you need help, advice, or just someone to share happy moments with!

My dog Ruby absolutely loved being with Sky. Ruby is a 2 year old chocolate labrador who can be very strong and very over-excitable (as most labs are), but Sky had absolutely no issues with handling her whatsoever. I have been working professionally with dogs and their owners for over 25yrs. Our home was never without at least 2 dogs when growing up. After rescuing my very first dog when I moved out the family home I needed help! I had rescued 'Buster'. Bad behaviour?? you name it, he had it! I had to learn fast or the future was not looking good for Buster. This led me on the path I have followed for the last 25 plus years.
With more than 25 years experience of helping owners and their dogs. I have a vast knowledge and experience. At Wizard of Paws we have a really strong team to help to deliver first class dog training and behaviour advise.
Working with dogs is so much more than just a job for us. Our team all have several dogs of their own. some are solely pets others are highly trained competition agility and flyball dogs. I personally have a team of 5 Working Cocker Spaniels which I train for gundog work and competition.
