Cecila is absolutely fantastic. She has helped us with two very different dogs. One adult Romanian rescue who is dog and people aggressive and one puppy from 8 weeks old. She has been professional, interested, thorough, and kind. Every session she has us re thinking our training and pushing us to do better, creating a better bond between us and the dogs. She is also great value for money and I would recommend her to anyone.

Working with Terri Hosford, a dog trainer and behaviourist specialist, can be an immensely rewarding experience for your dog. Terri trained under the highly respected celebrity dog trainer Steve Mann from BBC3’s Underdog show. Studying animal psychology, behaviour and learning as well as every day training techniques has taught her the ability to turn around the most ‘troublesome’ and ‘naughty’ dogs.

Terri is amazing, within 5 minutes of her first visit with our unruly Cocker spaniel she had her walking to heel, sitting, waiting and coming back when called - something we hadn't managed in a year.
It was really us that needed training, we were given a brilliant training plan for the whole family to follow to keep up Terri's work with her. If we stick to the rules, she's amazing, if we get too relaxed then it all goes out of the window!
The children love playing the training games which have a huge impact on Purdey's behaviour.
I highly recommend Acts of Dog, we're gutted they've relocated to.the Algarve!

The comprehensive programme has been carefully designed to take you and your puppy through all the basic life skills, giving you the very best foundation for life with a new puppy. What I love most is watching the changes in both dogs and their owners as they grow in confidence during their training. I enjoy providing the tools for dog owners to train their dog themselves and create a fantastic partnership.
I spend all of my spare time with my animals (over 100), and decided to make it into a career I enjoy more than anything in the world. I enjoy the flexible working and different dog cases every day - each one different and individual.
I will work with you on a 1-1 basis, whether your dog is boarding or remote/ on-site training. Each session will be specifically designed for you and your individual dog and will be easy to understand, so that you can continue the training at home.
I have three resident dogs the all clients' dogs will interact with - according to their training level.
We have access to a private training ground and vast local countryside, alongside a large, fenced back garden.
Once a client, you will have direct access to ongoing support should you need it - and can always rebook follow-up sessions as required. Existing/ Past clients will have priority over new cases.
All behaviourist clients will be provided with a written Behaviour Modification Plan for their individual dog. This can be amended throughout the process, as required.
I am happy to provide remote services if required. This can either be via videos on Whatsapp, Zoom/ Teams calls, and/or via the old-fashioned telephone.
I tend to work on a 1-1 basis anyway, but I will not currently be entering people's homes unless there is an urgent welfare concern. All training will take place either remotely, 1-1 outside, or on a Board & Train basis.
