Adrian knows how a dog thinks; both our dog 'Tinkerbell' and Adrian agreed, it was the owners that needed training, not the dog. Once we got that little misunderstanding out the way it was down to business. It wasn't long before our miniature Yorkie winked at Adrian as if to say "they're starting to get it."
Two weeks later and our little Tinkerbell has come on leaps and bound, or should I say we have! Adrian packed a lot into our two hours, a little like a crash course. Now we've got there on the basics we are considering getting Adrian back for more advanced training...maybe a bit of retrieval, tracking, a few tricks, who knows?
Adrian was brilliant and I thoroughly recommend him.

At K9 to 5 we understand that pets are a part of the family, and will treat your pet like one of our own. We provide pet services ranging from walking, training and or house calls. My name is Dani, and I have been working with dogs for over a decade. I started doing basic dog training from puppy to intermediate. From there I worked at a rehabilitation centre, where working Alaskan malamutes and working collies were bred and raised.

Tara bates - Pet behaviour specialist is a professional, qualified and insured independently run local business that offers Puppy classes, 121 training and behaviour consultations (for cats and dogs)throughout Medway and the surrounding areas.
I am a fully qualified dog behavioural therapist with a degree in Animal Behaviour. I'm the author of the international best selling dog body language book 'Whats My Dog Thinking' and one of the experts that was on Channel 4's Puppy School series in 2019. I've trained 10,000 dogs in 10 years, I set up the Birmingham based behavioural company Pawfect Dogsense and I used to work for Dogs Trust as a training and behaviour advisor. I work with dogs of all descriptions, breeds and ages, from puppies training to be assistance dogs, right up to complex human aggression cases. I am also an expert witness for crown court in dangerous dog cases. I also mentor and coach other dog trainers, provide CPD for vets, rescue centres, pet shops, groomers and pet professionals, particularly around dog body language, reducing reactivity, active participation training processes, people management, personal development and business coaching. I have an online video platform full of amazing courses and will travel the length of the UK to work with the right clients face to face
I love the people I work with as much as I love the dogs I train. I never set my learners up to fail or focus on harsh corrections or punishment because I'm an animal behaviourist and dog behaviour geek that finds all behaviour fascinating. It's not right or wrong in the field of animal behaviour its just functional or non functional and any behaviour can be changed! Every one of my sessions is fun and friendly and focused on building a solid bond of communication between you and your dog. I also love teaching classes, writing and doing talks!
I discovered dogs can smell cancer without training in 2008 and it blew my mind. I realised they needed far more study and respect across the board as many were still being trained with harsh correction particularly to their amazing noses! I set up my first training business in 2010 after having worked in a large UK rescue. I gave that business away in 2020 after training 10,000 dogs in 10 years and set up this business to work with dog clients and bigger businesses after I went on Channel 4's Puppy school and wrote the body language book 'Whats My Dog Thinking'
I am one of the best behaviourists in the country. I've got over a decade of hands on experience with over 10 thousand dogs and their amazing owners. I adapt what I do to help give you the skills to train and rehabilitate your dog so you can have sustainable behaviour and the knowledge to keep developing your training relationship over a lifetime.
Yes absolutely. You can access my learning materials for some courses already created at www.amplifiedbehaviour.com and I can also provide zoom consultations which have proven to be super effective
I developed an online learning portal over lockdown to help educate as many people as possible from the safety of their homes. I can also easily keep distance in 121 settings by working outside, in gardens and ensuring hand-washing and hand gel are used at all times. I'm happy to wear a facemask if requested, as long as I'm not in a greater amount of danger from a dog that's scared of facemasks!
